These Coupling Sockets are made from Brass with a Black Nickel Plated finish.
A pair of sockets weighs in at 1.9 grams which can be helpful if you are trying to improve the traction force with the Class 08.
They also work very well as an upgrade option from the stock coupling sockets.
These Sockets are “not” sprung loaded so can freely rotate for very tight radius curved track.
